Chaga has been used for centuries in traditional medicine and grows on the bark of birch trees. The mushrooms for our extract are gathered in wild forests in Latvia. Chaga is full of essential vitamins and minerals. It has an incredibly high ORAC value compared to other types of plants, vegetables, and fruits, meaning it contains the highest number of antioxidants. Antioxidants help protect our cells from the harmful effects of free radicals. They can support the immune system so we are less susceptible to diseases, help prevent (cell) aging, and have anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. Reishi is a natural adaptogen, famous for its benefits to the immune system. These extracts are developed and produced by SHYFT in small batches. They contain exclusively wild mushrooms gathered from nature. Wild mushrooms are highly hardened and adapt well because they have overcome significant obstacles before reaching maturity; they have survived extreme weather conditions, viruses, and bacteria, escaping destruction or consumption by animals. This results in an optimally developed defense mechanism. Therefore, wild mushrooms are almost always more potent than their cultivated counterparts. A technologically advanced "quadruple extraction" technique is used for all extracts, meaning that the fruiting bodies are exposed to various extraction methods. This ensures that you receive a very pure product of the highest quality.
